Eligible farmers are ages 18 to 64 who live or work in Wisconsin and are actively working in agricultural production (whereby at least 66 percent of income is derived from farming). 'Actively working' is defined as working a minimum of 30 hours per week on a regular basis, and not working in agricultural production on a temporary (less than six months) or substitute basis.
Adults enrolled in the cooperative must participate in a free personal Health Risk Assessment as part of the program.
Eligible agribusinesses must be a business enterprise providing direct services to production agriculture in Wisconsin, and directly related to the production of food, feed or fiber. Eligibility is subject to approval by the cooperative. |
